![]() As I took the time to finish receiving awful complaints and small details pointed out to me that J did not even notice during my wedding, from my family and friends. We paid a huge amount and my guest were miserable.Unfortunately, it took me well over a month to add my review. This was an awful experience & I thank goodness that my DJ and photographer made this experience worth it for us all. So they tax extra money on services that are not theirs. After talking to the DJ who said he offers it directly through him, his price was way lower than hers. Lorraine had given us a price list of the extras and we chose “dancing on the clouds” but had no paid yet. Their wait staff was very rude also, no smiles, no talking, nothing! As for the food, we were given a menu in the beginning when we chose this place and two more before the end, the menu was switched up completely making it way too expensive to feed the guest. As a family member went out to get us a drink for this time, they were both very rude. we had no drink for toast while they stood in the hallways bashing our wedding. When it was time for a toast, they had informed us before entering our reception that they would have the drink ready and asked what we wanted. He kept staring at his top jar after every guest and emptying it while counting it, every ten guests. ![]() Lorraine’s husband was our “bartender” after the ceremony, when we were told it was a female friend, and he made the experience awful. Again, she wouldn’t answer the phone! So my flower girl had no idea what to do and stood at the isle clueless when she got to the end and was very embarrassed. We had missed rehearsal the day before due to a long drive of the bridal party and her not accommodating us at all because it was the “holidays” and she was busy. When I finally arrived and stated that I had been calling her with no call back, I got “I was off, it was my birthday & I was busy” ! A few hours passed and she was setting up decorations as one of my girls told her how pretty is was and she stuck her nose in the air and said “yep” … and walked away. Mind you, I had called her for 7 days prior to tell her what time they were coming. She would not answer the phone for assistance to allow them in and then when they knocked on the dark room, after seeing Lorraine inside, she opened the door with a nasty attitude. Lorraine had said that we could come as early as we wanted just not 7am … My makeup artist showed up at 11 along with my girls. I had a hard time picking my makeup artist after one had backed out and was told that I could have bridal access to the suite early with an extra charge, in which we paid. We did not have any actual information on how it was going to go and I had no idea how to plan a wedding, I had never even been to one. Each time we came, it was an hour and a half drive for 20 minute meetings. We had signed an initial contract and we’re scheduled every few months to come back for visits with Lorraine. We are not wealthy by any means and my husband and I worked our asses off to pay for our whole wedding on our own, with no help whatsoever… with that being said, from day one we did not receive the proper treatment because we did not add all of the “extra things”. Unfortunately, it took me well over a month to add my review.
